Ingredients
6 cups distilled water
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups light corn syrup
1 1/2 cups fresh squeezed lemon juice
lemon zest from 2 medium lemons
Preparation
Step 1
Combine water, sugar and corn syrup in a large saucepan.
Step 2
Heat over medium heat until sugar and corn syrup completely dissolve.
Step 3
Remove from heat, and let cool to room temperature.
Step 4
Add lemon juice and lemon zest.
Step 5
Pour mixture into ice cream maker and churn using the manufacturer's instructions. When the machine stops, transfer the lemon ice to a tupperware bowl and freeze for several hours before serving.
